Hue Hotels and Resorts Puerto Princesa is a trendy lodging option that features well-lit accommodations in a vibrant atmosphere. This design-focused establishment boasts a rooftop pool, bar, and restaurant, as well as a hot tub for ultimate relaxation. The Matiz Restaurant and Tapas Bar offers an extensive menu blending traditional recipes from Spain, America, Vietnam, and the Philippines.
Great hotel. Loved the rooftop pool and bar, close to most things. Be warned though I got a laundry charge which was more than the room price when my partner had her period in the night

I love the location of this place. We go there for a staycation sine we are locals. Staff have always been super friendly and helpful. I love the rooms, the bedding, pillows, and comforters are so cozy. My biggest gripe is there has never been hot water when we want to shower!! This is nuts. Ever since they opened, we have never had the luck to pick the right time to have a hot shower!!The breakfast buffet is geared to Asians, so as Americans,we usually prefer to eat elsewhere for breakfast.

Nice room and very comfortable bed. Close to Puerto Princesa airport. Experienced some problems checking in as confirmed booking for King Bed preference was not available, eventually remedied after being inconvenienced. Shower is mouldy and not clean and very cold temperature. Even when management were informed they did not fix the shower problem. Separate toilet is nice but not spacious. Overall nice hotel but not worth the money. Would recommend considering alternate locations.

Hue was a really nice stay in a central spot close to the Robinson's Mall. There isn't too much else around, but the hotel can order you a taxi which can take you downtown which isn't a far drive. The room is clean and modern, beds were very comfortable. Pool on the top floor was nice, and the bar served reasonably priced drinks. Hotel as a whole is very clean. Breakfast buffet in the morning is very limited but it tasted good. Staff was very friendly. For the price, you can't beat this place! I would stay again

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Hue Hotel in Puerto Princesa. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly, making us feel right at home. Laurence, in particular, went above and beyond to ensure our stay was special. He made sure we had a delicious vegan meal and even went the extra mile to source special ingredients for us – such thoughtful service! The hotel itself is fantastic. Our room was beautifully designed, offering both comfort and style. The gym is well-equipped, perfect for keeping up with workouts, and the pool area is just stunning – a great spot to relax and unwind. I also enjoyed a deeply relaxing massage during my stay, which added to the serene experience. The dining room is beautifully appointed, and every meal felt like a special occasion. I can’t recommend this hotel enough – it truly exceeded my expectations!

One of the best hotels in Puerto Princesa, Palawan. We arrived early in the hotel at 07:05, then spoke to the front desk officer, Regine, who was very accommodating and friendly. I told her about our booking and mentioned that our arrival time was changed hence arriving too early. She assisted us all throughout the booking process. She was polite when she said that she will try her best to let us in early. To our surprise, she managed to accommodate us at 08:00! I was hoping for an early check-in at 12nn but 08:00 was absolutely brilliant! Hue Hotel, you have to give Regine a raise, she is a star! The room was spacious, with loads of lighting, a clean toilet and shower, a key safe, an electric kettle, and other bits and bobs you can find in a standard hotel room. They have an infinity pool, open bar, and gym on the fifth floor.Their staff were welcoming and happy to assist you anytime. The breakfast, blood stellar! When you book your room make sure you choose the one with breakfast included.Overall, it was a great experience. It is a highly recommended hotel to stay. Please do not expect that when you push for an early check-in it will be accepted, we were just lucky that the hotel had some vacant rooms :)Enjoy!

My husband and I loved Hue!! We only stayed for one night but wished we stayed more. Very clean modern place. The pool area on the roof is so relaxing, and there’s a gym as well. The staff are so kind and the breakfast had a lot of variety!

So many problems.- Allocated room with connecting door = no sound proofing. Woken at midnight on my first night by drunken women in room next door (phoned reception who said they would send staff up to rectify problem, but the staff member walked up and did nothing - he looked too nervous to confront them) and then at 6am by same women with hairdryer and shouting over it to each other. This was also my birthday so an upsetting way to start what should have been a good day. Rang to ask to move rooms and told hotel fully booked. So went down and a different staff member confirmed we could move rooms.- in second room there was a group spread across three rooms who left doors open, playing music out and moving from one room to the other parting into the night. Reception were asked three times to ask them to be quiet - this should have been rectified immediately.- one day I came out of my shower naked and there was a man at my window. He was on scaffolding up to the firth floor where my room was. I spoke to staff who said they were meant to tell me to close windows but forgot. This was so humiliating!!- bar on top floor playing music loud 11pm until we asked them to turn off. There was no customers at bar so no need for the music.- paid for a massage in the spa, one staff member playing on a game out loud on their phone. I complained to the staff immediately and certainly expected some form of discount due to the fact this spoiled the experience but was not given anything as an apology.- reception staff gave incorrect pricing for trike three times which led to embarrassment with the driver- requested packed breakfast as we were leaving for an early flight the following morning. She confirmed but when we got to reception at 5am nobody knew about it.I would appreciate the hotel getting in touch with me directly regarding this.

Enjoyed my two nights at this hotel. Service was top notch and room was efficient. Room was not over the top, more minimalist. Breakfast at the restaurant was delicious with a lot of variety. Located next door to a mall.

Our stay here was superb. The service was also commendable as we were welcomed by the employees. The rooms were spacious and cozy. The area is accessible considering it is in the city and located beside Robinsons so if you need anything you could just walk. Would definitely go back again!

I recently stayed at this wonderful hotel, and I must say it was a great experience. While it's on the expensive side, it's absolutely worth it. The spacious lobby and well-designed rooms create a comfortable atmosphere. The buffet breakfast was a highlight – absolutely fantastic. Plus, the rooftop pool and other amenities added to the overall enjoyment of my family's stay. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a top-notch experience. The only downside to our stay was the extended wait during the check-in process. We had to be patient for quite some time before finally getting into our room. Additionally, there is room for improvement in terms of attending to guests' needs and requests. Nevertheless, the overall experience was positive, and with some adjustments, this hotel could be truly exceptional.

One of the best hotels I’ve ever been. The location is great, the breakfast buffet got good selections, the room is clean and big, and the 4 of us in the family got the most comfortable sleep in our bed. But I think this hotel’s best asset are their staff and their workers who are always ready to lend a hand.. from the restaurant staff, the guards, housekeepers, receptionists, they were always ready to talk to you and help you with their smile in their faces. It’s our first ever stay in Hue Hotel and it will be my first option of hotel whenever I travel from now on. Hue Hotel and Resorts Puerto Princesa just set a high standard that hopefully other hotels can emulate.

We stayed here for 2 nights. It was supposed to be 3 but our plane was cancelled because of the typhoon. The transfer was smooth from the airport and the staff were super friendly and helpful. The pool was nice because it was a rooftop pool and you could see from the top. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable. We booked a tour through them and they called you to remind you of your tour or when pick up times were changed. We ordered some food and drinks, and it was delicious. We enjoyed the mall right next door, meaning we didn't have to ride anywhere. Which was convenient for us. Everything was great!

I really enjoyed staying here when we had our educational tour, I feel like we are very welcome when we first arrived in the hotel. The staff are very friendly and hospitable and always greet us when we pass by the front desk. For the breakfast, I really liked their food and it has many choices to eat.And lastly, the place is really great and efficient because there’s already a mall beside it. No need to use transportation to go to the mall because it is only walking distance.Overall, I loved staying in Puerto Princesa. Hope to come back next time! :>

Supposed to be 4-star hotel. It feels like a 2 star that happens to have a 100 sq ft “gym room.”Not so roomy spaces, uncomfortable bed and pillows.Lukewarm water, low water pressure to boot.Fire exit stairs that smells like sewer.Inconsistent service from the staff and rather rude “supervisor” from the restaurant for asking change. And the breakfast buffet was underwhelming. Won’t get if I had an option, just happen to be included.2/10 won’t recommend // stayed for 3 nights at Suite room

It's a five star hotel for me!.During preparation for our upcoming event, I usually gather quotations from different hotels, and Hue Hotel is the most responsive to the inquiries, revisions, and always answering calls. I believe that matters, it's part of the efficiency of their service. When we got there, they were very accommodating to our requests, as per how the event will be set up, their technical team assisted us during the event, helping us with the projector, the microphones, audios, and other technical concerns.About the food, well it's so nice. There are many choices of food on their buffet breakfast. I like their hot chocolate.I haven't tried their gym, bar, and pool because of being busy those times. but my fellow says that their pool is extreme. imagine swimming on it and seeing underneath you is a view of a highway from a point of view of the 5th floor.About the rooms, honestly, it's not as wide as the other hotel, but it's still comfortable with all the necessary facilities.I would consider this hotel for our upcoming events.

Great location, next the mall! Staff were nice and the hotel is clean. They have good breakfast too and nice pool and gym. Our stay were great because of our easy access to everything. They are 10mins away from the airport, very convenient and easy for check in.. Disadvantage: they don’t have free shuttle from the airport to their hotel considering it’s just 10 mins away! That they should improve! Otherwise, everything is okay in our stay!

Very hot hallways, restaurant and lobby area. This hotel does not understand that swamp coolers do not work in humid climates. They have them placed everywhere making things more humid and hotter than they need to be. The staff was very friendly. The rooms are pretty nice for the price. But, all common areas are hot. It's hard to eat and drink in the very hot areas and sweat profusely. I often went next door to Robinson's mall just so I could eat in AC. They need to close the lobby and restaurants in and utilize real refrigerated air.

The hotel is just a 10-minute drive from the airport. It's clean and quiet. We stayed one night and took advantage of the pool and gym — both very satisfactory. We each had a Swedish massage for 600 pesos, lasting an hour. It was excellently done, and I highly recommend it. The room is spacious with comfortable beds. However, the water isn't very hot. The wifi works well. We dined at the hotel's ground-floor restaurant. Prices are reasonable, and the shrimp pasta was delicious. They offer a wide variety of drinks and have a happy hour where you get a complimentary cocktail with every one ordered.I highly recommend this hotel!💳✅: This establishment accepts payment with credit cards 🙂

I would book my stay in Puerto Princesa here again. The location is right beside Robinsons that is very practical for ATM, last minute shopping and fast food restaurants. Their rooms are tidy and you can actually open the curtains to a nice view of a giant tree. There is no disturbing street or concrete jungle. Their swimming pool and breakfast buffet is very nice as well. You can book your van transfer to all kinds of destinations around Palawan directly at the lobby. So no need to go look for a tour agency office in town.

We stayed for 2 nights at the Hue Hotel in Puerto Princesa. We were warmly welcomed. The room was spacious, very clean, modern with a minimalist and sleek decoration, and the bed was super comfortable. The breakfast buffet was varied and very good! A gym is available in addition to the outdoor pool. We were able to do our daily workout in the comfort of air conditioning. Finally, the staff took great care of us; a big thank you to Izzy and Nico for their help, kindness, and professionalism. It was a very pleasant stay during which we were able to rest and enjoy the hotel's amenities.

Good experience at this hotel. We stayed because we were getting a flight from Puerto Princesa and honestly thought that the shopping centre next door was better. This meant we spent more time in the hotel than anticipated. The room overall was good, spacious and clean. Can't complain. We also got a lovely massage in the spa which was very worth the money. The hotel is used for conferences which can go on quite late into the night. Unfortunately we were on the second floor where they are held and the guests staying overnight from the conferences were not quiet about coming to and from their rooms. To be honest a bit of an oversight being put on the same floor. We did not ask to be moved as the first night was fine, it was the second night this was an issue. We also ate at the hotel and the portion size of the club sandwich was enormous. 3 doorstep pieces of bread meant the sandwich was bigger than my head!It was all lovely but very huge.My husband enjoyed his burger too.The staff were all helpful so no complaints there.Overall a good stay for an overnight before going to the airport/getting other onward travel/if you have a conference but I wouldn't stay for longer again.

Although it was a one night stay, it was a great experience. We were welcomed by drinks. Our room was to our liking. It was spacious and clean with all toiletries available. The staff was friendly and was willing to assist us when our luggage was misplaced. Breakfast was incredible. There was a variety of Western and Asian cuisine. The pool area is well maintained and the spa had good packages to choose from.

We stayed at Hue Hotels for three days and two nights last August. On the first day, you could see that their staff were hospitable and friendly. As a guest, I was happy when they welcomed us when we checked in. The staff greeted us and even gave us a welcome drink. They also gave us a stub indicating the wifi password, which is essential for me when traveling. The front desk was kind and attentive when it was time for room allocation. The room we occupied was lovely, spacious, and comfortable. It had complete items and amenities we needed. One of the hotel’s goals was to conserve water and electricity, which I found unique. The pool and the view from the rooftop were nice. The menu and food selection were great. The location is also good, as there was a mall within walking distance. However, the only downside I could say was that the restaurant and bar weren't able to accept orders and accommodate us despite it being still early at night. But overall, it was a wonderful experience.

Overall a lovely hotel with clean modern rooms (no bugs), good sized pool and nice pool area.Expensive food options given the location, we attempted to order 3 things for dinner and they didn’t have any of them in stock so ended up at Jolibee opposite so as to not pay a fortune for a burrito.Breakfast was varied but a few more western options would’ve been nice, the omelette option was a godsend.Staff were helpful but overall seemed a little confused over each request or question - they also short changed us due to lack of small change rather than taking the hit themselves.Location of the hotel is middle of nowhere - barely any restaurants nearby - the mall is next door that has a few cheap options but near impossible for a vegetarian to eat.

I would like to thank HUE and its staff for the warm welcome we received. As soon as we arrived at the hotel, they offered us welcome drinks.Afterwards, they had very nice details with the room. The staff is 100% and their massages a 10, we had no problem at all during our stay. They were very friendly and helpful, the breakfast quite complete, only one thing to note. They should add vegetable or lactose free milk for those who are lactose allergic.Without any doubt, HUE Hotel, will be our first stop for our next trip back to Puerto Princesa.Once again we thank you for the hospitality you have given us, all staff are very welcome in Spain if you are planning a trip.

A good hotel with good enough facilities and excellent staff service. Staff are generally attentive, helpful, and polite. Prices of food are reasonable and the taste is good to very good. Their buffets, for the most part serve a good selection of well cooked food. If there are things I can critique, it's that their scrambled eggs in the buffet breakfast are overcooked and dry and the coffee is weak and could be better. Some of the masseuse in their in-house Aminah Spa need better training so they can distinguish between a relaxing massage from a semi-torture session that will leave their guests tapping out in pain. S & M fans will surely love it, but not those of us who just want a relaxing massage. Overall a very good hotel, otherwise.

Joshua is very helpful with all our inquiries. The Toilet set up with the wash bowl outside is very convenient. They do not give out soap... The shower room is very spacious but the floor is slippery. The drainage is also clogged making me sit to soap... Another thing, there are no hooks to hang your towel and cloths in the toilet... Hope it does not drop on the wet floor. They serve good breakfast 6 am to 10.

We had an amazing stay at Hue, will definitely book there again if we visit Puerto Princesa. The staff provide excellent service and are very friendly. We never saw a grumpy face and they do everything they can to help with whatever is needed.Apple at the tour desk is knowledgeable and has such a sweet personality. The front desk supervisor (sorry, forgot her name now) was super helpful to arrange someone to pick up, wash, and drop off our laundry. The swimming pool area is a bit too open and could do with some more shade, but it has a great atmosphere. Very handy to have the bar up there where you can order food and drinks.I didn't use the gym, but not sure many people do as there's no privacy - everyone in the pool area can watch what's going on in there as the floor to ceiling windows aren't tinted or frosted.

Although far from the beach, this hotel is preferable as a base while enjoying the attractions of Palawan. It is beside Rob Palawan so there's lot of accessible restos and food/necessities from the mall's supermarket; also fronting the hotel is Bonchon and Pancake House. PUV's can be flagged down across the main road. Room cooling is strong and great particularly this hot summer. Toilet and shower are separate, though it could be 'icky' if you're sharing room with friends because of the frosted glass separations. There's a gym on the 4th floor and 2 outdated threadmills. Spa on the fifth floor near the pool bar was a bit cramp and staff conversing bounces loudly around but the service was topnotch. Using the infinity pool will make your hyperactive mind thinks that if its glass/polyvinyl wall suddenly breaks, you will be sucked by the gushing water and splattered into the cemented driveway entrance below. Daily buffet breakfast was varied, not luxurious but adequate. Servers were prompt, readily putting cold drinking water and milk unto your table once you sat and clearing used plates. Resto view from the clear glass wall into the bamboo plants lining the fence with birds and their nesting babies was amazing. I really like the cleanliness of this hotel. And the staffs were all smiles.

We needed a place to stay for a few hours before getting picked up at midnight by our tour operator from Balabac. I had called earlier to tell the hotel that our flight from Manila was delayed and we would arrive around 9/9:30PM and needed to check out around 12midnight because we would have a 6hour van ride to get to Balabac. Upon arriving to the hotel, the staff were friendly and we wanted to get to the room to have a bit of rest. Although the room was ok and clean. It wasn’t what we saw in the photos online which looked newer. To our dismay, we also saw we were given a handicap/accessible room so the sink was super low and really inconvenient for us.We also had free breakfast but since we were leaving before breakfast time we requested for some food but they gave us only bottled water and two lousy sandwiches. For a property managed by HII, one would expect after letting them know about our ordeal that they would at least make an effort to make our very limited stay (despite paying full price) a bit more comfortable. So very disappointed. The plus side is that its location is good and near the airport.

Love this place! The design is modern and the room is well designed, functional and the water pressure is good. We were really surprised with the standard of service! From the front desk who advised us about our early trip the next day, preparing our transport and our breakfast sandwiches packed with bananas! It was a kind gesture from their part! There’s a nice rooftop area with pool! The hotel is wellLocated and very near the airport! We will definitely stay here again in the future! The resto also has a nice acoustic live band playing at night.

I recently stayed in a Deluxe Room at Hue Hotel in Puerto Princesa, and overall, my experience was quite good. The room was comfortable and well-maintained, providing a relaxing atmosphere after a long day of exploring. The hotel staff were very kind and attentive, which made my stay even more pleasant. They were always available to help with any inquiries or requests, making the service experience top-notch.However, there were a few areas for improvement. The breakfast was average—while it was sufficient, it lacked variety. The options for lunch and dinner were also limited, especially for those who do not eat pork or beef. Expanding the menu to cater to different dietary preferences would greatly enhance the dining experience. One thing to note if you plan to use the minibar in the fridge: you’ll need to pay an extra amount for the items. It's also important to check that all items are stocked with two of each, as the hotel will charge you for any missing items, assuming you consumed them. This can be inconvenient if something was missing before you arrived.Another minor issue was the lack of green tea in the room. The only options provided were yellow tea and coffee. When I called the front office to inquire about green tea, I was told that only yellow tea was available in the rooms, though green tea was available at the breakfast buffet. It would be nice if green tea were offered as a standard option in the rooms as well.
